The Prosperity Hellish Gospel
A deep theological examination of the prosperity gospel — tracing its deceptions from Eden to medieval indulgences to modern televangelism. The cure is the true gospel of grace.
Discover the scandalous, unmerited, life-changing grace of God. No condemnation. No performance. Just the finished work of Christ and the freedom it brings.
Liberating Truths is a grace-centered ministry founded by Vaughn Tucker — an Associate Pastor at Providence Baptist Church in Plantation, Florida, and a self-taught fine artist originally from St. Ann, Jamaica.
As a pastor, Vaughn is passionate about proclaiming the pure, unadulterated gospel of God's grace — the truth that we are saved not by our performance, but by the finished work of Christ. As an artist, he brings that same message to life on canvas, working in oil, acrylic, watercolor, and pencil. Every painting you see on this site is his original work.
Through the written word and the painted image, Liberating Truths invites you into a deeper understanding of the love that will not let you go.
Salvation is God's gift, not our achievement
Jesus is the beginning, middle, and end
The Word of God is our foundation
Where the Spirit is, there is liberty
Biblical teaching rooted in the finished work of Christ. Each article is written to encourage, liberate, and point you to Jesus.

Resurrection
The resurrection of Jesus is the greatest news in human history. Because He rose, we are raised with Him — our victory is already won. A powerful declaration of hope, identity, and new life.
Grace
Understanding what it truly means to be dressed in His righteousness — not our own efforts, but His perfect work on our behalf.
Identity
Grace doesn't just remove stains — grace dresses you in new garments. A deep look at what it means to put on the new man in Christ.
Reconciliation
The full gospel doesn't just save souls — it reconciles people. A biblical call to embody the unity Christ purchased at the cross.
Why movements built on pride — even religious pride — carry within them the seeds of their own collapse. God resists them. History exposes them.
A word study on polupoikilos — the manifold, many-splendored, kaleidoscopic wisdom of God revealed in Ephesians 3:10.
Jesus said it from the cross — tetelestai. Paid in full. What does it look like to truly rest in what has already been accomplished?
The liberating truth from Romans 6–7 — a study on our union with Christ, the Greek word katargeo, and the beautiful paradox of the gospel: the more we are bound to Him, the freer we become.

"He has clothed me with garments of salvation; he has covered me with a robe of righteousness."
— Isaiah 61:10You did not earn the robe you wear before the Father. It was placed upon you — woven in the obedience of Christ, secured in His resurrection. This is not a garment you maintain by effort. You simply stand in it, loved and accepted, complete.

"He raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places." — Eph. 2:6
The striving to arrive somewhere you already are is exhausting. Grace declares: you are already there, in Christ, fully accepted.

"There remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God." — Heb. 4:9
Rest is not a reward at the end of labor. It is the posture of one who has entered the finished work of Another. Today, cease. Trust. Rest.

The resurrection of Jesus is the greatest news in human history. I challenge you to say which other news for humanity comes close.
Our victory is in the past. Our resurrection is in the past, as the Scripture clearly shows. We are not fighting for victory — we are fighting from victory.
The resurrection means there is hope for the hopeless, there is victory for the victims, precious promises for those without promises.
Learning to cope and get by in this world is dangerous, because such a person at the same time learns to resist the Holy Spirit who is pointing them to Christ.
I am bound to Christ, forever free. The more we are bound to Him, the freer we become. True freedom is not independence from all authority — it is being rightly joined to the One who is Life itself.
Katargeo — Christ did not simply cover sin or temporarily restrain it. He rendered the body of sin powerless. He stripped sin of its controlling authority over the believer.
Grace doesn't just remove stains — grace dresses you in new garments. I'm not trying to become new — I'm learning to live like what God already made me.
The cross didn't make you saveable. The cross saved you. Past tense. Finished work. Rest in that.
My hopelessness was a spiritual symptom of me being spiritually dead. Before Christ found me, there was a deep, pervasive hopelessness in my soul.
